At the beginning, the advantage of the chance to hit and defend will not help much, because only when the advantage over the opponent is around 100, the opponent hits. It's best to buy eq with additional damage at the very beginning.
-
Alright but how did i miss everything?
And is this outdated?
"As I said, progression is up to you, but some benchmarks are:
Level 5: Luck, Defense Art, Weapon Art, all at 20.
Level 10: Luck, Defense Art, Weapon Art, all at 50.
Level 15: Luck, Defense Art, Weapon Art, all at 75."
How much should i spend on stats compared to equipements? -
Hello,
No idea what tutorials you are reading, but here's a tip:
When you just start out, find a piece of equipment that has elemental damage, doesn't matter what piece it is, anything will do.
For the reason of missed hits, in the zone section you likely selected negative 25% zones, which can lead to that, although the game still has a chance to land a hit regardless at those low numbers.
The best zones to block as a beginner are Left side and Left side of the upper part of the body
For the stats, your luck won't matter at the beginning, I wouldn't upgrade it much at start, focus on strength and weapon skill, don't forget to upgrade your armor as you level up, as missions start to do more physical damage, don't upgrade your constitution unless necessary, it's a useless stat.
I know people think defense is essential, but as long as you don't plan to fully invest in it, it's better to focus on weapon skill exclusively, as you level up you'll find people with Gryphon gear which has a lot of hit chance and realistically it's better to ignore it as they will land a hit regardless of your defense, just focus on your own hit chance and you'll land a hit on them rather sooner than later, the days of defense are long gone imo, but you can do as you please.
Have a good one!
Edit:
Here's how the stats of my newest knight look like at level 15, 110k loot, aim for something similar.

It's a good shield, maybe a bit overpriced as you are paying for speed and crit, you can't directly compare it to stats as it's simply essential, you can of course not buy gear in general, I've done two accounts like that before, only using gear from Group missions, events and clues, but you'll have to suffer for a while with that strategy, spending some silver at the beginning on gear will pay off as you'll be winning more missions.
I prefer investing in stats as they are permanent, you'll get better gear as you level up, so don't invest too hard in it, just one piece with elemental damage will do wonders for now.
When you get to Endalain check the auctioneer in the marketplace, it will offer cheaper and better gear, until then just upgrade stats.
Fair warning about auctioneer, every player in your range can see the items and bid on them as well, the silver you place, if someone bids more than you is not returned.

I didnt find anything on auctions in the Lexicon.
It only says: VERY LONG auction. Could be a week or a month for all i know -
Very long is 24h, I think, they don't go longer than that, as the items are added every 12h, they add new items on the bottom.
Edit: If I remember correctly the reset for the batch is at 12 AM and 12 PM server time, could be 11 as well.
Edit 2: just checked, it's specific for every item, but the whole batch goes away at 11.

You need to understand how the hitting and blocking zone system works. Even if you have 1000 hitting skill if your opponent has his blocking zones where you have your attacking zone he will parry your hits and you will draw or lose the duels. It is pure RNG, you will never know what zones the enemies will have in missions and in case of a duel against other players if you find an opponent that you can't beat because he blocks you a lot and hits you a lot you will have to try to change these zones until you find where to put your blocks to stop his hits and change your hits so that he doesn't stop them.
-
But what is this then? 126 Silver?
-
Even if you lose the missions, it will still reward you some silver, winning would give more, but it's a compensation of sorts.
-
in every large profit mission 1 out of 11 hits lands. What am i supposed to do? I already changed to higher hit % zones
