A History Lesson
It was not until the late Middle Ages that Christmas trees were first set up, 1419 in Freiburg is documented as being the first. The original trees were decorated with apples, nuts and gingerbread, which were to be eaten on New Year's Day. Gradually this tradition spread and became more popular. Most of the trees were placed outdoors in a similar fashion to maypoles, which is why people sometimes referred to the early Christmas tree as the Christmas pole.
The period between the 25th of November and Christmas was a time of fasting in which only special food and drink, such as gingerbread were consumed. The last two days, the 23rd and 24th were especially strict, only dried bread and soup would be served!

During the fasting period, players must battle mobs to collect different foods for decorating the tree. As the decorations are added, the tree gradually transforms into a grand stage, progressing through four stages in total.
The decorations are:
Apple
Gingerbread
Fir cones
Players can also find other event items that have special features:
Meat - Heals 200 hp
Fish - Heals 50 hp
Bread, Salt, Nuts - these increase the chance for you to get an event item
Scraps - Collect these and if you have enough you will attract a companion, the Ermine.

After the fasting period ends, there will be a short period of calm until the new year. Depending on the stage that your server has managed to build the tree, you will receive a certain buff, they are:

Achievements and Companions

During this period, players will have the opportunity to complete unique event achievements. These special challenges will be available exclusively during the event and will reward those who participate actively.
