[Feedback] Echoes of steel

  • I think that the last power of the Warden doesn't work properly. It increases the armour value by 20%, and deals damage equal to 30% of armour when enemy attacks are avoided or blocked. But the damage output is taken from the actual armour value, not from the increased value by 20%. Also the increased armour value doesn't appear in the attributes page of the character, only in the battle reports.

  • I'm curious how do you like this event so far?

My opinion is that event is hard p2w and unreal, buffs change stats too much so even player 200 levels under you can beat you in a duel.

Also we didn't get anything becouse Gameforge made a mistake first day of the event, first time see that in games tbh.

    What yall think?

    ?(

  • You must be new to this game.

Everything is aimed at the players who buy rubies.

    1. If nobody bought any rubies then the game would no longer exist so everything is aimed at getting players to buy rubies.

    2. Gameforge often mess up/delay the start of events. You never get anything back.

    3. Ruby purchases rarely mess up though. So there's something.

  • I used to spend huge amounts of money on games, even a few thousand euros on certain strategy games. The issue isn't buying the in-game currency, but the lack of balance.

Also, you are to blame for their mistakes because you accept them, so things will just go on the same way. If you consider the fact that their shop is working a success, then congratulations. 8o

When I look at the rankings, I see the following:

There are clearly double standards being applied.

One player gets banned, while another is simply allowed to carry on as if nothing happened.

Server 37 DLD is being deliberately destroyed.

I am against cheating — but I am against EVERYONE cheating, not just certain players.

Furthermore, I see the FORUM deteriorating more and more.

Every day, I see numerous MODs and Staff members appearing online.

Apparently, they are busy doing all sorts of things, but when it comes to moderating this forum and handling tickets, they seem to follow the old saying: they raised a glass, took a piss, and left everything exactly as it was.

And wondering why the forum is going downhill.

AI, this will probably earn me another forum ban... but I will not stay silent.

  • Feedback on the Recent Event – A Step Forward, but Major Flaws Remain

First off, I want to acknowledge that this thread was created specifically for feedback. However, I’ve noticed very little engagement from the team in response to the community's concerns. So, I’d like to consolidate the general sentiment here.

    The Good

Despite many mechanics being noticeably broken, this event was arguably the best thing GameForge has delivered in over a decade. Why? Because it actually told a story. That alone is a huge milestone.

But – and this is a big but – if a broken event is the best we’ve seen in 10 years, that says more about the state of the game than the event itself.

    The Major Issues

    1. Bot Runners Dominating the Leaderboards

The most glaring problem is the bot runners who swept 2–3 categories, hoarding as many prizes as possible. This should have been prevented outright by banning them. That seems like an obvious first step.

    2. Allowing Participation in Multiple Categories

Who thought this was a good idea? If a player changes their path, their points should be wiped from the previous category. Otherwise, they can collect rewards across multiple tracks while legitimate players are left in the dust.

And please, don’t try to tell me that 140 wins per day, every single day, is normal human behavior. I’m all ears, but I’m not buying it.

    A Constructive Offer

If GameForge needs help identifying and catching bots, I’m genuinely willing to assist. I have hands-on experience implementing anti-cheat systems that automatically detect and ban users for obvious non-human activity patterns.

    The Elephant in the Room

I realize the uncomfortable truth: these bot runners are likely the biggest spenders, and that creates a conflict of interest. But allowing them to ruin the game for everyone else is a dangerous mindset. If GameForge chooses to turn a blind eye simply because they’re paying customers, then I have nothing more to add.

Let’s hope this feedback doesn’t fall on deaf ears.

  • Hi...

Its not true that Agressor botting, you can report it any time they can check, guy is answering on his message every time, what means he is playing his game. We all do mistakes, dont be mad on us becouse executor got banned, nothing to do with us...

  • I was in contact with the banned player almost every hour, nearly every day. Or did you also regularly try to talk to him?

Oh, how convenient... You get to judge your own case. But you and I both know better, don’t we? Apparently, it’s two people, two completely different punishments. One gets banned, while the other one is simply allowed to carry on playing as if nothing happened.

    What a wonderfully fair system.

  • A Constructive Offer

If GameForge needs help identifying and catching bots, I’m genuinely willing to assist. I have hands-on experience implementing anti-cheat systems that automatically detect and ban users for obvious non-human activity patterns.

I am writing to formally report a serious issue regarding fair play, potential terms of service violations, and an apparent conflict of interest within the Bulgarian volunteer/support team.
During the recent "Echoes of Steel" event, widespread botting was highly visible on the leaderboards. I submitted an official support ticket regarding four specific accounts that demonstrated inhuman activity logs. Over a 54-hour period, their playtime was logged as follows:

    • Account 1: 52 hours active
    • Account 2: 50 hours active
    • Account 3 & 4 (Multiboxing/Same User): 48 hours active

Despite providing clear evidence of non-stop activity without any breaks, my ticket remained unaddressed for three days. The eventual response was a generic template stating that the matter "would be investigated." No action was taken, and these accounts continued to play and exploit the event until the very end.
The lack of intervention points to a significant conflict of interest. All the reported accounts belong to the exact same guild where the entire Bulgarian support team plays. It appears that local operators are protecting their guildmates, compromising the integrity of the game. I also reached out directly to the Community Manager, Paso, via Discord, providing the ticket ID to ensure visibility, but received no meaningful response or intervention.
There was a time when Gameforge strictly prohibited operators from managing servers where they actively played to prevent such biases. Currently, the lack of oversight has left the servers poorly managed, protecting rule-breakers at the expense of honest players.
I would highly appreciate it if this matter could be investigated by an independent, higher-level team outside of the Bulgarian community cluster, and their Community Manager but i doubt that will actually happen!

  • Only agree that admins don't do enough, becouse Executor will prob get unbanned for botting.

  • players on the PL/S55 server have not received avatars or prizes for the event, it's been a day and there is no information about it!
    ____
gracze na Polskim S55 nie otrzymali awatarów ani innych nagród za event, minęła już doba a nawet nie ma w tej sprawie żadnej informacji!

  • Anders we know that the wrong prize was delivered (100 hp instead of 100%hp), but we don't know about people who didn't receive a prize at all.

We also know about a bug related to the avatar, when you put the avatar you received, you see the same avatar on everyone else. We are working on a solution for those two bugs.

However, If you have players who did not receive anything at all, while they should have received, I need more info on that. They can write to me in private here or send a ticket and give me the ticket ID in private here.

  • Paso I described the problem in a message to you on Discord; I also created a ticket and sent you its number in a forum message.
