I’ve just had a look at the list of community managers. It’s amazing that, apart from Melione and Web , they’ve all been inactive for months or even years. :D

Perhaps the two remaining community managers could say something.

Is it really a bit presumptuous and arrogant to issue a warning to everyone here? What makes you think you should warn us all just because players here are voicing legitimate criticism of how support tickets are handled?

I can only agree with what some people are writing here. There are Team staff who do a really good job and many who do absolutely nothing.

It’s unacceptable for tickets to be left unprocessed for weeks on end. We’re talking about critical reports here, too. Where are the community managers who are paid to do their jobs?

It’s simply negligent how carelessly these reports are being handled.

You've put into words exactly what I wanted to do today ...1000%. Thanks, Camleot. But I'll add a few more thoughts when the time comes.

So what's the problem, my friend? You shouldn't be nervous about the game administrators, after all, they are just volunteers in the game and they are not paid to be available to us 24/1.....

    Patience, Patience My Amigo

Sorry, but that's nonsense. If players sometimes have to wait two weeks, that has nothing to do with “voluntary” anymore. In two weeks, many critical errors can occur, along with insults and much more.

The community managers, in particular, are acting with gross negligence through their inactivity. Given the low number of active players, this is ridiculous. They have nothing else to do and could easily handle the 1–2 tickets per week.

In this age of AI, which has already caused a number of problems, security breaches and even improvements in coding for large global companies, I cannot understand the statement regarding Battleknight’s old system. Now, of all times, would be the right moment to tackle things properly.

In my opinion, Gameforge simply lacks the will to do so and is just trying to milk the game for all it’s worth. When I read the user reviews for Metin 2, I see parallels with Battleknight.

    Dagegen

    1. Sind 14 Tage nichts

The international server has been a topic of discussion here for some time now – including in my messages to Paso.

However, the international server must absolutely:

    • Provide robust protection against bot users
    • Completely overhaul the Order Battles system.
    • There must be ONLY one account and NO more multi-accounts.
    • The cooperation between team members must be reworked.
    • Greater transparency regarding bans and warnings, as in the past.

I don't feel that this thread will achieve anything, because we've had enough of these over the last 10 years.

I cannot promise anything but for sure that I will report what was said (in this thread and the other) and I will be fighting to implement some things that were suggested, whether here or in the other thread and we are already working on other stuff (new kind of monthly madness for example).

    Paso

I appreciate your statement, but many community managers before you have said the same thing and unfortunately nothing has happened. In 2015, there was a German CoMa here who said the same thing and wanted to change a lot. Nothing has changed in all these years.

However, it is now imperative and important to fix the merchant. I have already reported cases to Kizuna via support that there are players who have grown so much in level that they hardly have a chance to play multiple missions without dropping to 0 health points. This is because the old accounts are superior to them due to their older and better armour. However, Kizuna has not responded, which I find negligent for a CoMa. This is tough for non-ruby players. And we are in the realm of real money coercion here, which makes a warning from Gameforge legally possible.

If you want to take a good step, Paso, then reset the merchant to its old status immediately. And also restore the 5-minute cooldown in duels. These are two significant changes that absolutely must be restored.

I don't feel that this thread will achieve anything, because we've had enough of these over the last 10 years. But it keeps the topic alive.

The previous posts have already mentioned a lot.

I'll start with another topic. Because I consider them equally important.

    THE TEAM (CoMa, Admins, Mods...):

You need to reduce the size of the team and unfortunately remove inactive team members or those who don't do anything. Simply convert the forum into an international forum. Those who don't know English can use Deepl and other translators to communicate. In our German section, communication is often non-existent or too late. The international team members too often take on the work for many areas (many thanks to them).

    RULES:

    Bot users and hackers:

Tough and effective action against bot users and hackers.

I suspect that some are tolerated because they invest money.

Bans for insults, etc.! Not just against one account, but all multi-accounts, because the player remains the same. Unfortunately, in the past, only one account was banned and not all multi-accounts. More transparency again when it comes to bans, etc.! Stricter control of accounts within the same household. This is often used to circumvent registered multi-accounts.There used to be a notice board here where all warnings and bans could be tracked. Unfortunately, this is needed again.

    ITEM-MERCHANT:

This must be fixed urgently and very quickly. Higher levels have to buy yellow potions more often to regain HP. This also violates guidelines and laws because players are forced to spend money. Due to the higher cooldown on missions, players are no longer able to maintain their level.

This is URGENT and needs to be fixed ASAP.

    ORDER WARS

Must be like they used to be. All players decide for themselves which opponents to attack. Health points must once again determine who wins. The orders must work together more. The current system makes no sense. The order wars are much too long.

    INTERNATIONAL SERVER:
Please plan for an international server with only one account per player. No more multi-accounts. Each player may have one account on the international server. There are many great players from other countries here. I would love to play with/against them. :)

The fix was rolled out and all rubies were delivered.

We again sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

    Happy holidays :)

Is there any information on how to resolve issues with retailers? This is a significant problem, particularly for growing accounts.

I just tested it with a small amount on the German server (s50). Here, too, no rubies are credited.

In order to discuss things objectively, you also have to understand. As modest as Gameforge's behaviour is.

Maeve wrote ‘lose either’ < which means you don't lose one thing or the other.

Sir Loin Steak : It would be helpful if you held back a little. You don't have to write five posts in a row or make exaggerated accusations. Your attitude doesn't help US at all – quite the contrary. Pull yourself together.

And format your texts properly. Reading your posts is so exhausting.

I would recommend that everyone contact the relevant consumer agency in their country. Be objective and provide clear evidence. Leave your emotions out of it and stay within the bounds of the law.

The team members here are also only volunteers and receive some compensation for their work. I find the grossly negligent behaviour of the community managers to be a serious issue. Since they are employees of Game Forge, or external service providers for publishers, etc., please do not take your frustration out on the team members.

Does this mean that buyers will ‘probably’ have to wait until next week for the rubies to be credited? The statement can also be interpreted differently.

In the evenings, people would go to the forum, and there were more users active there at the same time than there are players active in the game today. :D
