Server merge

    Dear Knights,


    We are pleased to announce that we are making significant progress in our preparations to merge Battleknight servers. Initial internal tests have yielded very promising results, and we are confident that a server merge can be implemented on Battleknight servers within the next three months.


    While we cannot provide an exact date at this time, we can inform you that there will be multiple merging dates. We will begin with smaller communities to ensure everything is functioning correctly. The entire process, from the first merge to the last, is expected to span approximately three weeks.


    Post-merge, the number of communities will remain the same, meaning only servers within the same community will be merged. Each community will have two servers after the merge, with the exception of Latvia and Lithuania. They will have one server each.


    All 1x servers within each community will be merged into a single 1x server. All 4x, 5x, 8x, and 10x servers within each community will be merged into a single 5x server.


    We will provide you with further information and a comprehensive FAQ at a later date.

    Dear players,


    The first batch will be merged on the 16th of July. It will include the countries of:


    • Latvia
    • Lithuania
    • Brazil
    • Spain

    Regarding Latvia (all x1 servers):

    Servers lv_2, lv_3 and lv_4 will be merged into server lv_7.


    Regarding Lithuania (all x1 servers):

    Servers lt_2, lt_3, lt_4 and lt_5 will be merged into server lt_8.


    Regarding Brazil:

    X1 servers: br_2, br_4, br_6, br_7, br_8, br_9, br_10, br_11, br_12, br_13, and br_14 will be merged into br_36 (x1)


    Other servers: br_15(x4), br_16(x4), br_17(x4), br_18(x4), br_19(x4), br_20(x4), br_21(x4), br_22(x4), br_23(x4), br_24(x4), br_25(x4), br_26(x4), br_27(x4), br_28(x4), br_29(x5), br_30(x4), br_31(x4), br_32(x5), br_33(x5), and br_34(x5) will be merged into br_37 (x5).



    Regarding Spain:

    X1 servers: es_4, es_9, es_12, es_13, es_14, es_15, es_16, es_17, es_18, es_19, es_20, es_21, es_22, es_23, and es_24 will be merged into es_51 (x1)


    Other servers: es_25(x4), es_26(x4), es_27(x4), es_28(x4), es_29(x4), es_30(x4), es_31(x4), es_32(x4), es_33(x4), es_34(x4), es_35(x4), es_36(x4), es_37(x4), es_39(x4), es_40(x4), es_42(x4), es_44(x4), es_45(x4), s_38(x5), es_41(x5), es_46(x5), es_47(x5), es_48(x5), es_49(x5), and es_43(x8) will be merged into es_52 (x5)


    To prepare for the merge, we will do a maintenance tomorrow 09/07/2024 starting at 11h00 CET.

    Following the long maintenance yesterday, we were able to activate the Viking event on the servers that will be merged next week:

    • Latvia
    • Lithuania
    • Brazil
    • Spain


    The Viking event for these countries will continue until July 16th. If all goes as planned, the countries will be merged on that same day.


    Reminder: the last two opened servers of each country is not included in the merge process.

    Following several issues with the Viking event, the event was stopped.

    The event will be restarted hopefully tomorrow at 14h00.



    This only concerns LT, LV, ES and BR. As the event was not started for other countries.

    The merge for the first batch (LV, LT, BR and ES) will start tomorrow at 10AM.


    We do not know when exactly the servers will be back online.


    In the same time, the viking event for all other countries will start tomorrow as well.


    We plan to merge all other countries next week. You will have the schedule for each country on friday.


    PS: I will clean this topic a bit to take away all the maintenances announcements made the last few days and keep only the merge info, for a better overview.
