  • Does this mean that buyers will ‘probably’ have to wait until next week for the rubies to be credited? The statement can also be interpreted differently.

  • This is theft. I paid and didn't receive the rubies. Now I have to wait a whole week to kindly get what I paid for? This evet is - 100% rubies and 100% maney lost. What about compensation for delay?

  • I wonder how much actual money game forge has just taken from people and given them nothing.



    It's all just sitting there in game forge's bank account earning interest until the issue is sorted.



    Meanwhile we all have no rubies and lose our money.



    Is the happy day still active and showing in game???


    So people will still be buying, expecting rubies and finding themselves scammed like us???

  • I was thinking of buying 100 euro rubies again. But seeing these, I gave up. I suspect many players did the same. Good job, GameForge, we didn't lose money, you didn't gain anything. Keep it up, bankruptcy is near.

  • I would recommend that everyone contact the relevant consumer agency in their country. Be objective and provide clear evidence. Leave your emotions out of it and stay within the bounds of the law.


    The team members here are also only volunteers and receive some compensation for their work. I find the grossly negligent behaviour of the community managers to be a serious issue. Since they are employees of Game Forge, or external service providers for publishers, etc., please do not take your frustration out on the team members.

  • I have nothing against the team members. I hope my comments reach the owners of this game. Every event has some technical issues, bugs, or errors. I lose the desire to play and I'm even considering deleting my account. People play for fun, spend money for pleasure, and a poorly performing game takes that pleasure away.

  • But it is still being advertised in game.




    There will still be people who don't use the forum so are unaware of this issue who will be paying money and getting nothing.

  • If they run an event like this then they should have somebody available to sort out problems. No matter if it's Christmas or holidays there should be someone there. There should also be somebody to remove the advert in game to prevent more people falling into this trap.






    All the admins will do here is delete this thread to remove the evidence. Don't want these negative vibes man.

  • Continuing to advertise a product when they have been notified that it is just taking peoples money without providing that product is probably breaking a few laws.

    Gameforge's lack of staff at this time and the vague promise of maybe getting it sorted in a weeks time just demonstrates what a money grabbing company they actually are. With no respect for their paying customers.



    They will lose paying customers because of this poor service, but do they care???

    You are right, that is a good deal. I just thought we would lose at least one of them.





    Yes, I agree. This will eventually be sorted out. But in a week or so. Not right now.




    Which means that I, along with the hundreds or maybe thousands of people who took this advertised deal are out of pocket for at least a week and because there is nobody around in Gameforge to receive our complaints then we come to the FORUM to voice our complaints. The place provided by Gameforge for players to talk.





    If you do not want to read them, then don't. It's called choice.

  • My point is that if the roles were reversed and payments weren't getting to Gameforge then you can be damned sure that they would have had somebody in and fixing this problem instantly.




    But as it's the customers who aren't getting what we've paid for then we can wait at least a week and have ourselves a merry little christmas.

    Being told we have to wait over a week for the problem to be fixed doesn't really make people happy right now does it?

  • In order to discuss things objectively, you also have to understand. As modest as Gameforge's behaviour is.


    Maeve wrote ‘lose either’ < which means you don't lose one thing or the other.


    Sir Loin Steak : It would be helpful if you held back a little. You don't have to write five posts in a row or make exaggerated accusations. Your attitude doesn't help US at all – quite the contrary. Pull yourself together.


    And format your texts properly. Reading your posts is so exhausting.

  • Firstly : I wrote maximum 3 posts in a row.


    Secondly : Maeve wrote " You will not lose either your money or your rubies. " Which I know doesn't mean it but, if you take that sentence at face value, it does actually say that we we will not lose either which in a court of law would mean we would have to get both back.



    Don't worry, I know that this isn't the case and that Maeve intended to say we would get either our money or our rubies back - before you start trolling me for that.



    Thirdly : Are you an admin? Why do you think you have the right to tell me to " hold it back a little " on a public forum designed for discussion?


    And how are my accusations exaggerated exactly??




    Did Gameforge advertise a 50% bonus for all ruby purchases ? Yes


    Did we receive a 50% bonus for ruby purchases? No, We actually received 0 rubies.


    Is the advertisement still active in game? Yes


    Are people still purchasing rubies expecting not just their rubies but 50% extra ? Yes - including you, testing it when you already know it doesn't work. Says a lot.


    Are gameforge actively fixing this problem? No, they're on holiday until probably the 5th January.





    So exactly what are my exaggerated accusations???




    Fourthly : again, what do you mean " format my texts properly " you've said this before and didn't answer me when I asked what you meant.



    Fifthly : I don't know if I beat you in-game and you don't like me for this, so you feel that you have to come into the forum and disagree with everything I say, but if that is the case then there's an easy solution............................




    Just buy a couple of thousand euros worth of rubies. You'll get a good deal at the moment - 50% extra.


    It might make you a bit better. Try it.
